Black Hills of South Dakota, September 3 to 8, 2019. Hosted by Paulette Ford from the Comfort Inn & Suites in Hill City, the National Meet toured Custer State Park, Deadwood, the Crazy Horse Memorial and Mount Rushmore, with show-and-shines at a guest ranch and a winery along the way.

Wednesday, September 4

Custer State Park, with lunch at the lodge, the bison herd, the wildlife loop and a roadside repair or two, then a leisurely drive back through the city of Custer and a late-afternoon tech session in Hill City.

Thursday, September 5

Deadwood by modern car and bus: the Tatanka Story of the Bison exhibit, a tour of the historic town and Mount Moriah Cemetery, and the old saloons on Main Street. Back in Hill City the Durants drove out to the High Country Guest Ranch for a show and shine, then parked at the 1880 Train for a tour of the South Dakota State Railroad Museum.

Friday, September 6

The Crazy Horse Memorial, with the museum tour, the bus to the base of the mountain and the group photo, followed by a show and shine at the Prairie Berry Winery in Hill City and the club business meeting.

Saturday, September 7

Keystone and the Black Hills Central Railroad, a drive to Mount Rushmore in banquet dress, and the closing banquet and awards at the K Bar S Lodge near Keystone.
