September 2000 was the first planned tour for the DMAC, the 1st DMAC Tour, based in Flint, Michigan. The club drove its cars to Lansing for lunch in Durant Park and a visit to the REO museum, a 110 mile round trip, and toured Flint, stopping by the Durant Hotel, which had then been closed for years. That Saturday there was a huge car show at the Sloan Museum in Flint.
