Grand Junction, Colorado, September 14 to 19, 2021. The National Tour returned after the pandemic year, hosted by Tom Schaffer from the Clarion Inn on Horizon Drive. Four days of touring took the cars through downtown Grand Junction, the orchards of Palisade, Dinosaur Journey in Fruita and the Colorado National Monument.

Wednesday, September 15

The first day of touring began in downtown Grand Junction, with the cars lined up on Main Street and a walk through the town, and ended with an afternoon visit to the National Weather Service office, where the group watched the evening weather balloon go up.

Thursday, September 16

East to Palisade beneath the Book Cliffs: an alpaca farm among the peach orchards, a lunch stop, and in the afternoon a private collection of Star cars in their own shed, complete with an original Star Cars dealer sign, followed by a tech talk.

Friday, September 17

Dinosaur Journey in Fruita, with its skeletons and life-size reconstructions, then out into the desert of the Colorado National Monument country before dinner together in the evening.

Saturday, September 18

The Colorado National Monument, with its canyons and the Coke Ovens overlook, and the closing banquet at the hotel with a live band and the club colours in balloons.
