The model 618 was introduced in 1931, when it was described as "The new, medium priced 6-18". The 115 inch wheelbase, model 618 featured a 72 horsepower, six-cylinder engine. In 1932, the model 618 was no longer part of the Durant Motors line, however production continued of the car, under the Durant name, by Dominion Motors of Canada.
