Specifications
- Engine: Four-cylinder, “L” head. Bore 3-3/8″, stroke 4-1/4″. Piston displacement 152 cubic inches. Actual brake horsepower 36 at 2400 r.p.m.; S.A.E. rating 18.2. Nelson Bohnalite alloy pistons. Camshaft driven by Morse silent chain chain drive – adjustable. 3-bearing crankshaft. Cylinder cast en-bloc – detachable head.
- Engine lubrication: Full force feed lubrication.
- Cooling system: Centrifugal water pump; honeycomb type radiator. Water capacity – 6-1/2 quarts. 16 inch, 4-blade fan; flat endless belt.
- Fuel supply: Vacuum feed Stewart. Fuel tank mounted on rear of chassis.
- Clutch: Single dry plate – smooth positive. Enclosed in flywheel – removable without disturbing engine or transmission. Flywheel covered with metal shield.
- Transmission: 3 speed – selective sliding. Ball bearing main shaft. Alloy steel hardened gears. Drive from motor to transmission is through special Spicer metal and rubber double universal joint eliminating shocks.; Gear ratios: First speed, 3.32:1; Second speed: 1.77:1; Third speed: 1.00:1
- Front axle: Drop type, high grade forged I-beam. Center point steering. Ball type thrust bearings on knuckles.
- Rear axle: Semi-floating; Split housing type; 4.44 to 1 ratio.
- Final gear ratios: 1st speed: 14.74 to 1; 2nd speed: 7.86 to 1; 3rd speed 4.44 to 1; reverse 18.6 to 1.
- Brakes: Two shoe 11 inch Bendix Duo-servo brakes – all brakes adjusting to give same braking – no equalizers.
- Chassis lubrication: Alemite high pressure.
- Springs: Semi-elliptic; Front – length 36″; width 1-3/4″; Rear – length 54″; width 1-3/4″
- Steering gear: Worm and Wheel Adjustable. 11 to 1 ratio. 17 inch steering wheel – flush type.
- Wheels: 19 inch wood wheels, 4 inch rims.
- Tires: 29×5.00 Balloon tires; 28×4.75 on convertible roadster.
