The M2 began life as a Star M2. When Star production was shut down in April 1928, the car was rebadged as a Durant. The Durant M2 was produced until September 1928 when it was replaced by the model M4. The 107 inch wheelbase, four-cylinder M2 featured four-wheel brakes and vacuum gasoline feed.
